Welcoming tour to Belarus (For groups)

Tour program:

Day 1.  Arrival to National Airport Minsk-2. Meeting the group by the representative of the company Daily Tours LTD. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Free time.

Day 2. Breakfast. 11.00 – 14.00 - City tour Minsk with professional English guide. The capital city of Belarus was first settled over 900 years ago, in 1067. Much of old Minsk was razed to the ground during World War II. Among the sights that you will see are: Independence Square with the House of Government and "Red" Krasny Roman-Catholic Church, Victory Square with its tall grey obelisk and eternal flame honoring the heroes of World War II, Troitskoye Predmestye (Trinity Suburb) – restored buildings of the 19th century, Holy Trinity Cathedral and St.Catherin's Church – architectural monuments of the 17th cent.

Return to the hotel. Free time.

Day 3. Breakfast. A tour to Mir castle (15-16thcent. monument) (120 km away from Minsk) It staggers imagination by its beauty grandeur and  artistic elegance. The red brick casle is currently being restored, but one tower and the courtyard are open to visitors. The tower open as a museum features ceramics found during excavations as well as numerous photos. Mir castle was built as a fortress in 1568 and it’s an outstanding example of the rare Belarusian Gothic architectural style. A tour to Nesvizh Palace (is included into the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE) The small town of Nesvizh founded in the 13th century, is home to the 16th century Radziville Renaissance family castle, the former residence of the ancient Belarusian-Lithuanian family of Prince Radziville. Now it’s a sanatorium for kolkhoz farmers, but the grounds and courtyard are open to the punblic. Radziville’s castle lies amidst the lakes. In summer it’s a good place to escape the city heat and walk through the estate’s extensive park. Close to Nesvizh castle is a magnificent Catholic church (16thcent,architect Bernardoni) beautifully painted inside. Return to Minsk. Free time.

Day 4. Breakfast. Free day.

Day 5. Breakfast. Shopping day (6 hours in Minsk shopping centers)

Day 6. Breakfast. 10.00 departure to Brest. Excursion in Brest and Brest’s fortress. The City tour of Brest you will have a city tour of Brest which is an administrative centre of the Brest region. The city is located on the right bank of the Western Boog River. Brest is the traditional “western gate” of the country. The first mentioning of it is dated to 1019. In 1390 it was the first city in Belarus that obtained self-government on the basis of the Magdeburg Law. The historical Union, which reconciled and united catholic and orthodox confessions in Belarus, was concluded here in 1596.

Transfer to Belovezhskaya Pushcha.  Tour to the Pushcha, open-air cages and visiting the Museum of Nature. The park is included into the UNESCO List of World Heritage. It is a unique forestlands of the Europe. The present animal and bird world is very rich and diverse. The bison population of Belovezhskaya Pushcha is the largest in the world you will have a chance to visit the Nature museum and have a tour around the Puscha.

Return to Minsk.

Day 7. Breakfast. Transfer to the National Airport Minsk-2.
